What is a Bluetooth gateway?

A Bluetooth gateway is a device that integrates Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Simply put, the Bluetooth gateway is a scanning management device for Beacon tags.

The Bluetooth 4.2 gateway integrates two wireless transmission methods, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi. WiFi and Bluetooth are connected through UART serial port. The Bluetooth gateway can scan the broadcast packet information of the BLE device. Then it forwards it to the designated server. SKYLA has developed and launched a variety of Bluetooth 4.2 gateways, including VDB2602 and VDB2606.
