The restaurant personnel UWB positioning management solution developed by SKYLAB adopts ultra-broadband positioning technology. By deploying UWB positioning base stations in the dining area of the restaurant, customers carry the number plate UWB positioning tag. It can realize real-time positioning of customers who have ordered meals, and the service staff can know their real-time location through the display screen.

Through the real-time positioning of customers in the restaurant, statistics and analysis are carried out on the waiting time of customers and the flow of people, which provides a basis for improving service quality in the later stage.
The architecture of SKYLAB UWB High Accuracy Indoor Positioning System consists of UWB Anchor, UWB tags, positioning engine and terminal display device.
(1) UWB Anchor: The UWB positioning system requires that the UWB positioning anchor be installed in the restaurant area in advance. The UWB anchor communicates with the positioning tag through the UWB signal to realize the function of positioning the UWB tag.
(2) UWB Tag: The number plate and UWB tag are assembled together. After ordering, customers need to take the positioning label number plate and wait at the seat. The tag transmits UWB signals, communicates with the base station, and is solved by the positioning engine to realize the positioning of the tag itself.
(3) Location Engine: UWB Anchor send the original data to the location engine through network in real time, location engine which running algorithm calculate the coordinate position of the tag in real time.
(4) Display Terminal: The positioning coordinates of the tag calculated by the location engine are generally displayed on a terminal which may be any device with a browser, such as PC computer, tablet and mobile phone.
