Adopting the DW1000 solution: VDU2503 uses the DecawaveDW1000 UWB solution, which provides a foundation for its high-precision positioning. The DW1000 chip has excellent anti-interference ability and precise ranging performance, which can accurately measure the flight time of UWB signals in complex outdoor environments, thereby achieving accurate position calculation of positioning tags.
TDOA positioning algorithm: The software uses TDOA (Time Difference of Arrival) indoor positioning algorithm to determine the location of the positioning tag by measuring the time difference between UWB signals arriving at different anchor. This algorithm has high positioning accuracy and stability, and can achieve centimeter level positioning accuracy in various indoor and outdoor scenarios. When used in conjunction with UWB positioning tags, the highest positioning accuracy can reach 10 centimeters, with an error of about 30 centimeters based on actual positioning scenarios.
Waterproof and dust-proof: It has IP67 waterproof and dust-proof grade, which can effectively prevent dust from entering, and can be soaked for 30 minutes in an environment with a water depth of 1 meter without affecting normal use. It is fully adapted to various outdoor adverse weather conditions, such as rainstorm, sand and dust, to ensure stable operation in a complex outdoor environment.
Coverage range: The anchor coverage range is greater than 50 meters, which can meet the positioning needs of larger areas, reduce the number of anchor deployed in outdoor environments, and lower system costs and complexity.
Data upload and clock synchronization: Supports 100m Ethernet data upload method, which can quickly transmit positioning data to the server for processing and analysis. At the same time, UWB wireless synchronization is used for anchor clock synchronization, without the need for additional synchronization cables, simplifying the system deployment process and improving the reliability and flexibility of the system.
Power supply method: POE (Power over Ethernet) power supply method is adopted, which only requires one Ethernet cable to achieve data transmission and device power supply simultaneously, greatly reducing customer installation time and wiring difficulty, especially suitable for outdoor environments where it is inconvenient to lay power lines separately.
Equipped with fixed brackets: The anchor is equipped with fixed brackets, which facilitate the fixation of the anchor on outdoor facilities such as walls and utility poles.
